This is a song that Mike Scott has been playing since 1994 at his solo acoustic gigs. He insists there will not be another Waterboys album but he does say he has recorded a Mike Scott album (on which this track will presumably appear).
This track is taken from a bootleg CD and from my recollections of the gig so the lyrics (and the odd chord) might be a bit dodgy.
For those of you who are aware of the song - Enjoy
BRING 'EM ALL INTO MY HEART
Words and Music - Mike Scott
Bring 'em all in, Bring 'em all in, Bring 'em all in, Bring 'em all in,
Bring 'em all into my heart
Bring 'em all in, Bring 'em all in, Bring 'em all in, Bring 'em all in,
Bring 'em all into my heart
Bring the little fishes, Bring the sharks
Bring 'em from the breakers, Bring 'em from the dark
Bring 'em all in, Bring 'em all in, Bring 'em all in, Bring 'em all in,
Bring 'em all into my heart
Bring 'em all in, Bring 'em all in, Bring 'em all in, Bring 'em all in,
Bring 'em all into my heart
Bring 'em from the caverns, Bring 'em from the heights
Bring 'em from the shadows, Stand them in the light
Bring 'em all in, Bring 'em all in, Bring 'em all in, Bring 'em all in,
Bring 'em all into my heart
Bring 'em all in, Bring 'em all in, Bring 'em all in, Bring 'em all in,
Bring 'em all into my heart
Bring 'em in the moonlight, Bring 'em in the dawn
Bring 'em out of exile, Back where they belong
Bring 'em all in, Bring 'em all in, Bring 'em all in, Bring 'em all in,
Bring 'em all into my heart
Bring 'em all in, Bring 'em all in, Bring 'em all in, Bring 'em all in,
Bring 'em all into my heart
Bring 'em all in, Bring 'em all in, Bring 'em all in, Bring 'em all in,
Bring 'em all in, Bring 'em all in, Bring 'em all in, Bring 'em all in,
Bring 'em all in, Bring 'em all in, Bring 'em all in, Bring 'em all in,
Bring 'em all in, Bring 'em all in, Bring 'em all into my heart
Bring 'em all in, Bring 'em all in, Bring 'em all in, Bring 'em all in,
Bring 'em all into my heart
Bring the unforgiven, Bring the unredeemed
Bring the lost the nameless, Let 'em all be seen
Bring 'em out of hiding, Bring 'em out of sleep
Bring 'em to the portal, Lay them at my feet
Bring 'em all in etc until you get bored or the cows come home
Now stick a capo on and choose a key to suit. I use the fifth fret, I think Mike is at the seventh.
