Ok, this is fairly accurate, and people will recognise the tune if you play it correctly. Whatever you do, don't be put off if it seems complicated because it really isn't. I have not included the timing, so I suggest that you listen to the track as performed by Mr Big, and go on from there. But for all you guys out there who know the tune and the rhythm, here we go! ---:
E B(1) A(2) (Fill 2) Ooh baby baby it's a wild world
B(1) Asus2 E (Fill 4) And I'll always remember you like a child girl
Oh yeah
E B(1) A(2) (Fill 2) Ooh baby baby it's a wild world
It's hard to get by just upon a smile, yeah
E B(1) A(2) (Fill 2) Ooh baby baby it's a wild world
B(1) And I'll always remember you like a child girl
There is one thing I'm not sure about in verse 3... There is a guitar playing something around the second octave (12th fret) on the high E string. I can't make out exactly what it is! Post it if YOU know! Well that was it. I can't spot any errors from here, but if you do come across any, feel free to correct it! I said this before, but, "Wild World" is not as complicated as it seems. The chords are simple, but there's nothing practice won't overcome.
The next thing I'm trying to tab out is Mr Big's version of The Who's "Baba O'Riley". I'd be grateful if anyone who has it already would please post it. if you wanna have a try at it, go ahead. It's a really cool song that should help your picking technique, and it's found on the Mr Big Live album and the video.
